ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITMENT

Boracay Island is located in the midst of the South China and Sulu Sea in an economically undeveloped area.

Natural resources are limited and supply of electricy and fresh water are not abundant.

Our Ocean and Beaches are of extraordinary beauty and we encourage our visitors to treat this dream like environment with respect and care. Please leave nothing but footprints and take nothing ecxept memories, pictures and a rested mind.

A beautiful Island like Boracay deserves to be protected by it’s residents and guests, so we encourage to save water and to conserve energy by using the air conditioning and lighting responsibly in our Hotel rooms.

Sheets and towels are normally changed every third day or upon your request.

We avoid the usage of disposable plastic containers by offering locally produced organic shampoo, soap, conditioner and lotion in dispensers in our bathrooms.

Our organic coconut based products are of finest quality and made of raw and natural extra virgin coconut oil here in the Philippines.

We work in partnership with our Barangay (Village) and segregate our garbage and trash to be recycled by a group of local villagers. They make a living by producing organic fertilizer, construction bricks made from plastics and sell the segregated materials to be recycled.

Argonauta Boracay is an active member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Boracay, which is, together with the Boracay Foundation, a stakeholder organization committed to the economic and environmental sustainability of Boracay Island's growing community. We have been involved with the organizations projects for many years now, creating the improved environmental situation ofthe island, which we see today.

Argonauta Boracay is also committed to the development of Barangay Yapak, where it is located. It generally employs its staff from the neighboring community and actively pursues ways to help with the development of Yapak, through education of its younger generation and in partnership programs with the local Barangay leadership.

We welcome you to visit our community and are happy to introduce you to local families and their ways of life!
