The East Asian Monsoon determines weather seasons.
The dominant pattern is northeast wind (Amihan) in the mostly dry and cooler season from November to May and southwest wind (Habagat) with humid warmer wind from June to October.
Those two seasons are referred to as Dry Season and Rainy season. It is warm throughout the year with clear sky, tropical sun and no rain at all or cloudy with temporary rainfall and breeze.
Temperatures are around 30 degree and rarely fall below 25 degree; humidity varies from 70 to 90 %.
The ocean is normally calm without waves and at times storms (typhoons) bring heavy rainfall with strong wind.
Those are announced early by the weather forecast and transportation can be addressed in time when airports and jettyports may close due to weather conditions.
