The private collection of 5000 specimen of Philippine sea shells is open to the public. For views of the collection by appointment, please call 288-2746.
The selection of shells represent the specimens of the Philippines and were collected by late Martin Dornau, who lived on Boracay Island from 1990 to 2005. Being a passionate seashell lover he visited dealers and fishermen all over the Archipelago: from Manila to Mactan Cebu, Palawan, Zamboanga and all the way to Basilan. The amazing beauty of those ocean creatures has inspired him to configure this unique collection. You are welcome to get an impression of the shapes and colours of our PHILIPPINE SEA SHELLS.
